LESSIA Lehen'kyi is a Ukrainian painter currently studying at ARBA-ESA in Brussels. Her work focuses on the representation of the body, combining close naturalistic observation with a poetic gaze.

Through superposition and repetition, similar shapes and visual elements are brought together or set against one another to create ambiguous assemblages, presenting living beings not as separate from the world they inhabit, but as vital organs within it.
